Key plants and their use described in lemon & lavender toner: - Witch Hazel essential oil - Lavender essential oil - Lemon essential oil Witch hazel essential oil (Hamamelis virginiana) A wonderful inclusion due to its effectiveness as a cleansing wash that revives and soothes. It enhances the skin's tone and elasticity, is an anti-inflammatory and can be used to astringe red veins, reduce swellings, sunburn and soothe the eyes. Lavender essential oil (Lavendula vera or officinalis) Lavender is undoubtedly the best skin cleanser in the plant kingdom as it normalises all types. It is renowned at assisting skin redness, blemishes, acne and any slight bruises or skin disruption. Lemon essential oil (Citrus limonum or Citrus medica) Lemon essential oil helps normal to oily skin creating a balanced skin. This oil is safe on fresh cuts and so any minor abrasions will flourish and heal quicker. It is this ability to accelerate skin repair, brighten and even out the complexion that makes it so useful.

Directions

Spritz onto face and leave to absorb. (Generally no need to avoid eyes but be individually cautious.) Otherwise sprits onto face and wipe off using cotton wool.
