Rose water has an ancient 'romantic' history of use, all over Europe, Asia and the Middle East. It is believed that the sails of Cleopatra's cedarwood ship were scented with rose water-"the very winds were lovesick," Shakespeare wrote. This facial tonic rejuvenates the skin and leaves the pores unclogged yet protected leaving your skin smelling of beautiful roses. It also contains glycerine (a by-product of palm), a natural ingredient and skin preservative. This rose water makes an ideal toner for normal and sensitive or problem skin (being 'lighter' than the Herbs and Flowers Skin toner).
