100mg of Butterbur root powder within each vegan tablet. Butterbur petasin can be found growing throughout the UK on wet marshy land - it looks a lot like Rhubarb! Mainly used to help relieve the symptoms of migraine and hay fever. The root is used as it is this part that contains the highest concentrations of the following active ingredients: Petasin and Isopetasin. Before use, the roots require a lengthy extraction process to isolate these active ingredients and also ensure all pyrrolizidine alkaloids are removed.
